What are the Air Cadets?
Air cadets are part of a national program offered free of charge to young people aged 12 to 18. This program is supported by the Canadian Armed Forces.
Contrary to popular belief, this is not a military recruitment program. Above all, it is a unique opportunity to learn, to surpass oneself and to forge lasting bonds with other young people who share the same values.
Whether through leadership courses, uniformed exercises, weekend outings or summer camps, air cadets experience unforgettable adventures while discovering a fascinating world: that of aviation.
Would you like to register?
Good news: registration is free! The uniform, equipment, and activities are funded by the government and supported by local fundraising efforts. Upcoming Events and Activities
Our strength is the community
Squadron 613 can count on the support of parents, partners and local sponsors. Thanks to this mobilization, we regularly organize fundraisers to finance additional activities, such as educational trips, specialized courses or sports outings. In this sense, your involvement, whether in time, donations or purchases during our campaigns, makes all the difference.
A locally managed site, for you
The 613 Squadron Response Committee, a non-profit civilian organization made up of dedicated volunteers, proudly maintains this site. More specifically, this committee’s mission is to support the activities of the air cadet program in Saint-Jean-sur-Richelieu and Iberville. Concretely, he ensures the smooth logistical and administrative functioning of activities, organizes fundraising and acts as a point of contact between parents, instructors and cadets.
To learn more about the role and responsibilities of this essential organization, visit the About the Respondent Committee section.
